Today, at the 2018 Monster Energy Supercross season opener in Anaheim, Yamaha made an unexpected declaration—Ryan Villopoto will join the organization as brand envoy. [Update: Yamaha says it will be a “one of a kind promoting association” not mark ambassador.]
Villopoto, who resigned in 2015, spent his whole master profession with Kawasaki. After his retirement, Villopoto was named mark envoy at Kawasaki, a part he held until the present declaration.
