Erin Normoyle, the pit correspondent for the Racer X Motocross Shows, and the live pit and platform columnist for the Lucas Oil AMA Motoctross Championship, was associated with a genuine head-on car crash on Saturday evening not a long way from Red Bud. Normoyle and her beau Scott Champion, the privateer rider from Southern California, were made a beeline for the airplane terminal when they obviously swerved to miss a creature crossing the street, went over the middle path and hit another auto head-on. Champion was generally fine with a few knocks and wounds, however Normoyle, who was driving, endured numerous breaks to her leg, and in addition chest and rib wounds. She was taken quickly to South Bend Memorial Hospital, where she has since experienced two surgeries on the leg and foot. Her wounds are not dangerous, but rather they are broad; Champion is remaining with her at the healing facility, and individuals from both of their families are currently there to help.
