Erin Normoyle, the pit columnist for the Racer X Motocross Shows, and the live pit and platform correspondent for the Lucas Oil AMA Motoctross Championship, was engaged with a genuine head-on car crash on Saturday evening not a long way from Red Bud. Normoyle and her beau Scott Champion, the privateer rider from Southern California, were gone to the air terminal when they clearly swerved to miss a creature crossing the street, went over the inside path and hit another auto head-on. Champion was generally fine with a few knocks and wounds, yet Normoyle, who was driving, endured various breaks to her leg, and in addition chest and rib wounds. She was taken promptly to South Bend Memorial Hospital, where she has since experienced two surgeries on the leg and foot. Her wounds are not dangerous, but rather they are broad; Champion is remaining with her at the healing center, and individuals from both of their families are presently there to help.
