UPDATE | CPISA LEAD LAW

A gathering was hung on Feb. 26, 2009 with the Attorney General of South Carolina, Henry McMaster. A few families went to and additionally a soil bicycle merchant from Spartanburg, an AMA agent, and the District 29 President. The motivation behind the gathering was to make McMaster mindful of the Consumer Product Improvement Safety Act of 2008 (CPSIA) that became effective February 10, 2009. This new law bans all items intended for youngsters ages 12 and under which contain lead over determined points of confinement—consequently this incorporates earth bicycles and ATVs.
