RESULTS | AMA AX: FRESNO

FRESNO, Calif. – The 2010 AMA Arenacross Series’ West Coast make a big appearance was a grandstand evening for the AMA Arenacross and AMA Arenacross Lites class’ driving riders as the arrangement made its second visit to Fresno’s Save Mart Center. Babbitt’s Monster Energy/Ti Lube Kawasaki’s Tyler Bowers, of Danville, Ky., came back to the best advance of the platform in the chief AMA Arenacross class, winning his seventh race of the season and expanding his focuses lead. In the AMA Arenacross Lites Western Regional Championship, GPF/Babbitt’s Kawasaki’s A.J. Catanzaro, of Middlefield, Conn., kept up the energy gathered over the past couple a long time to snatch his second triumph of the year.

Spinechillers/Storm Lake Honda’s Nathan Skaggs, of Chillicothe, Ohio, hustled to the AMA Arenacross class holeshot, yet was rapidly overwhelmed by the Babbitt’s Monster Energy/Ti Lube Kawasaki trio of Bowers and partners Chad Johnson, of Rhinelander, Wis., and Josh Demuth, of North Richland Hills, Texas. The most prevailing riders of the season went ahead to catch the group’s fourth platform scope of 2010 in that same request, generally unchallenged by their rivals. After eight adjusts, the Babbitt’s squad has won 11 of the 12 races this season.

In what has transformed into a great new kid on the block season, Catanzaro won the primary race of his profession two weeks prior in Youngstown and sponsored it up with a third place complete a weekend ago in San Antonio. On Saturday night, he ruled the AMA Arenacross Lites headliner, assuming control over the Western Regional Championship focuses lead over Reynard Mods Kawasaki’s Cory Green, of Nowata, Okla. Notwithstanding their earnest attempts to challenge for the win, Motorsport Hillsboro Kawasaki’s Tiger Lacey, of Wolf Creek, Ore., and Green balanced the platform in second and third, individually.

Thickets’ preference over Demuth in the AMA Arenacross class standings sits at 17 focuses while Johnson keeps up contact only 21 brings up of the lead. Catanzaro’s Western Regional Championship advantage over Green sits at an inadequate three focuses.

The 2010 AMA Arenacross Series proceeds one weekend from now with the unbelievable ArenOcross from Reno, Nev. Also, the Livestock and Event Center at 7:30 p.m. ET.
