JOSH GRANT, MCELRATH TOP QUALIFYING AT USGP

Josh Grant will have first gate choice tomorrow after topping certifying today in the last round of the FIM World Motocross Champion at Glen Helen. Yamalube/Star Competing Yamaha’s Cooper Webb ended up second in his initial 450 exterior race in the US. Romain Febvre, that has already secured the 2015 World Championship, ended up third. Jason Anderson, Antonio Cairoli, Gautier Paulin, Shaun Simpson, Jeremy Van Horebeek, Max Nagl as well as Marvin Musquin would round out the top 10.
In MX2, Lucas Oil/Troy Lee Layouts Shane McElrath took the win in advance of Valentin Guillod and Tim Gajser. McElrath’s colleague Jessy Nelson ended up sixth, while Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Chris Alldredge ended up tenth.
