As we reported yesterday, Kawasaki, as well as amateur Austin Forkner, have settled on a multi-year deal that is expected to see the Missouri native make his specialist launching with Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki at the 2016 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross season opener at Hangtown.

” This is a wonderful opportunity for me as well as I am fed to stay on Kawasaki and also sign up with Mitch (Payton) and every person on the team,” claimed Forkner in a group statement. “From the start, my objective has been to win championships as a professional as well as I think that Beast Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki gives me the best possibility to accomplish my goals.”

Forkner signed up with Team Environment-friendly in 2011 and has won 6 AMA National Championships at Loretta Lynn’s, including 2 this past week. Forkner was granted the AMA Motocross Amateur Biker Honor, which recognizes one of the most exceptional non-A-class motorcyclist, on Saturday for his wins in 250 B and School child.

” Austin is a gifted motorcyclist who brings a great deal of skill as well as individuality to our team,” stated Kawasaki Racing’s Bruce Stjernstrom. “Team Environment-friendly offers a proven transition for our bikers from the amateur ranks to the pros. Our company believe Austin has the capability to effectively comply with that course.”

The strategy is for Forkner to stay amateur for the 2015 Monster Power Cup and also the 2016 AMA Springtime Amateur Nationals before transforming professional at Hangtown.
